911 & E911 Disclosure

USA Mobile provides access to 911 and Enhanced 911 (E911) services in compliance with federal regulations. By using USA Mobile’s Services, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. 911 and E911 Service Overview
911 and E911 services enable customers to contact emergency services. When possible, E911 provides emergency responders with your registered address and call-back information. These services depend on network availability and may be affected by factors beyond USA Mobile’s control.
2. Important 911 Limitations
a. Device and Network Compatibility:
- Your device must be compatible and connected to USA Mobile’s network to make a 911 call.
- Devices not registered with USA Mobile or used solely over Wi-Fi may not support 911 or E911 functionality.
b. Registered Address Accuracy:
- For E911 to provide accurate location information, you must ensure that the address associated with your USA Mobile account is current and accurate.
- Updating your registered address can be done through your account at usamobile.com/account.
c. Service Interruptions:
911 and E911 services may not work during:
- Power outages.
- Network disruptions or maintenance.
- Device malfunctions.
d. Non-Traditional Devices:
- Devices such as tablets or certain IoT devices may not support 911 or E911 services.
3. Calling 911 While Roaming
If you are roaming or outside USA Mobile’s service area, 911 calls may not connect or may be routed to an incorrect emergency response center. In such cases, USA Mobile cannot guarantee the accuracy of location information.
4. User Responsibilities
- Provide Accurate Information: Ensure your contact and address details are accurate and updated.
- Understand Limitations: Be aware of the circumstances under which 911 and E911 services may not function as expected.
- Have a Backup Plan: Keep an alternative means of contacting emergency services (e.g., a landline or another mobile provider).
5. Disclaimer of Liability
USA Mobile disclaims all liability for the failure of 911 or E911 services due to:
- Incorrect or outdated address information.
- Service disruptions caused by network or technical issues.
- User error or device incompatibility.
